Demographics

Education. 79 percent of 24th District residents aged 25 years or older had completed high school in 2000. This figure is 4 percent higher than the statewide average and one percentage point lower than the nationwide average.

Bachelor's Degree. 22 percent of area residents aged 25 years or more held a bachelor’s degree in the year 2000, compared to 19 percent statewide and 24 percent across the U.S.

Income. In 1999, the per capita income for the 24th Judicial District was $19,953, higher than the state average of $16,912 but lower than the national average of $21,587.
